This piece was a difficult piece to settle down. After a few weeks I came to work on it again with some new energy. When I came back to it, I added the right mixes of color and imaging to bring it around. It reminds me of my youth, of what the "house of the future" was supposed to look like the late 1950s and early 1960s. It also reminded me of the imagery from the cult movie classic "Forbidden Planet."
