I just finished a great book,"The Wager." It's not a gambling book but, a true story about the HMS Wager, that was shipwrecked off of Patagonia in 1740, a very harsh and forboding place. And if that wasn't bad enough there was a mutiny and then starvation that followed. This is a great read. It obviously effected my thinking.
