The Rise and Fall

$56.00

Size: 11″ x 14″ matted and backed; Artwork: 7.5″ x 9.5″ image in mat opening. Giclee print on archival paper. Personally printed and signed by artist.

This new piece is of the rise and fall of a civilization. It has a similar feel to Thomas Cole's "The Course of Empire-Destruction." I did not start off to create this piece, the subject matter found me. I'm sure I'm projecting my fear of the state of the world. Let's pause a moment and reflect on what could happen. Let's then work hard to make a sustainable world. There is a red "spot of hope" I left on one of the columns. I believe there is always hope.
