This piece reminds me of science fiction magazine covers from the late 1950s and early 60s. Without deliberate intent, my working process leads me around until an image starts to curve into a direction that seems familiar to me. It's then like clay where I have to start to bring it into the way I want it to be. This is nothing that I plan ahead of time.
